Getting Started with Your
New Member Portal & Learning Lab

League of Wisconsin Municipalities  ·  Step-by-Step Setup Guide
⚠  Important: A Member Portal account is now required to register for and attend all webinars and live events in the League Learning Lab. Without completing the steps below, you will be unable to access any web events throughout the year.

The League has launched a new Member Portal and Learning Lab to make your engagement with League resources, events, and continuing education more streamlined and efficient. Please follow the three-part guide below to create your account, access the Learning Lab, and register for live web events and on-demand content.

Part 1 — Create Your Member Portal Account
  • Step 1
    Visit the Member Portal. Go to the League Member Portal login page to get started.
    🔗 Portal URL: Click here to access the Member Portal. If you have any issues, contact league@lwm-info.org.
  • Step 2
    Identify Your Existing Account. On the Sign In page, click the “Forgot username?” link — even if you have never logged in before. This allows the system to automatically locate your existing League record rather than creating a duplicate account.
    ⚠ Do not click “Create a new account.” Using “Forgot username?” ensures you are linked to your existing membership record.
  • Step 3
    Secure Your Access. Enter the email address where you typically receive League communications. The system will instantly verify your record and send you an email containing your username and a secure link to set your password.
    After setting your password, you may be prompted to return to the start page and log in with your updated credentials. Once logged in, locate your name in the upper right corner of the page and click it to access your Member Portal profile.
Part 2 — Access the League Learning Lab
  • Step 4
    Log in to the Learning Lab. Once your Member Portal account is active, visit the Learning Lab at learning.leaguewi.org and sign in using your new credentials.
  • Step 5
    Explore Learning Lab Content. The Learning Lab is your central hub for League education and events. From the top navigation bar, you can browse and register for:
    • On-demand courses you can complete anytime
    • Live webinars and virtual learning events
    • Event registrations and training series
    • Member discussion events such as roundtables and meet-ups
    Look for event collections like Member Roundtables, League Meet-Ups, and the Food for Thought series, or explore the catalog to discover additional courses and resources available on demand.
