Urban Alliance
A forum for larger municipalities to connect, learn and network around issues affecting urban communities.

About

Created by the League's Board of Directors in 2011 to ensure chief executives and finance directors from larger municipalities have a forum to discuss and advocate on urban issues. Focuses on policy evaluation, public education, and legislative advocacy. All League members with a population of 10,000+ are automatic members.

Governance

The Urban Alliance is a component of the League, operating under the oversight of the League's Board of Directors. The Alliance's president and vice president serve on the League's Board, and League staff provides support.
