Practical governance. Real conversations.

League Locally is a hands-on learning experience designed to strengthen how local officials lead, communicate, and govern together—not a lecture, but an active, practical session with tools you can use at your very next meeting.

2:00–5:00 PM · Training Session

Build skills that make meetings work

Civility in governance, Robert's Rules of Order applied in real time, and a guided mock meeting designed to turn concepts into practice.

5:00–7:00 PM · Open to All Members

Member Roundtable

A light meal and open conversation with League staff and peers on current issues, shared challenges, and ongoing work across municipalities.

The roundtable is free and open to any League member—even if you are unable to attend the training. Select this complimentary option when registering.

Who should attend: Open to all municipal officials, with particular value for governing bodies, boards, and commissions—city councils, village boards, planning commissions, parks boards, police and fire commissions, library boards, and more. Municipalities are encouraged to register as a group to build shared understanding and strengthen team effectiveness.

Come ready to learn, practice, and connect.
