Help Shape the Future of
Municipal Professional Development
Join the League of Wisconsin Municipalities Professional Development Advisory Group! We are inviting passionate municipal leaders and staff to be a part of this unique opportunity to help shape the learning experiences that serve Wisconsin’s municipal workforce for years to come.
The Professional Development Advisory Group is a newly created volunteer body that works alongside League staff and Board leaders to strengthen the quality and relevance of League learning opportunities. Members will help guide the direction of professional development for municipal officials and staff across Wisconsin by:
- Identifying training priorities and emerging learning needs
- Outlining the League’s professional development roadmap
- Strengthening the relevance and quality of learning opportunities
- Serving as a bridge between League staff and the broader membership
We welcome interest from any League member who is committed to professional growth in local government. When forming the Advisory Group, the League will consider factors including experience and expertise, demonstrated interest in learning and development, and the need to reflect the diversity and breadth of the League’s membership.
Ready to get involved? Complete the short interest form below to submit your application. The form takes approximately 5–10 minutes and asks for basic information about your background and interest in serving on the Advisory Group.
Questions?
If you have questions about the Advisory Group or the application process, please reach out to the League team at league@lwm-info.org. We’d love to hear from you.
